F8: restart audio?

Hi all,

How does one restart the audio subsystem in F8? F7 and earlier had an
alsasound script in /etc/init.d, but I don't see anything comparable
in F8. I've tried using the "Reinitialize audio drivers" command on
the System tab of system-config-sound, but it returns an error
message: "Unable to remove kernel modules"

The soundcard is an onboard Intel 82801G (ICH7 Family)
