Slightly OT: Macs + DHCPd/bind

The obvious question is, "are they, the Macs, set up to do that?"  A
client can try to register its details, or not bother.  Oddly, I seemed
to get the opposite of what I configured to happen with Windows (no
registering when configured to do so, and vice versa).
