SOLVED: _X11TransSocketINETConnect() fails when install FC6

Excellent!  Thanks, much.  Logged in as root, and ran:
 ># system-config-display --reconfig --set-resolution 1024x768 
--set-depth 16

Then, ran:
 ># startx
and it works!

I reset the /etc/inittab file to boot in runlevel 5 .
