id.au is personal (non-commercial) use. I have one, it's based on my and 
my wife's initials (in that order).

  No different in reliability than vanity or microbusiness dot.com 
domains such as keithl.com, lesbell.com.au, or dyndns domains such as 
herakles.homelinux.org.
