Again two hard drives IDE and SATA. Now SATA is /dev/sdf (hd5,2) and fdisk finds it with no problem. But when I try to set up grub with: grub> root (hd5,2) it errors out saying no such location! Why can't grub see that SATA drive? -- Karl F. Larsen, AKA K5DI Linux User #450462 http://counter.li.org.
