FC5: unofficial kernel updates?

FYI, a fedora Live Upgrade SIG has been born:

The idea is to make upgrades like that at least well documented if not 
automatic. There is also pre-existing material on doing it at:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Tools/yum/YumUpgradeFaq

I did in fact do a production fc3>fc4>fc5>fc6 about a year ago. I did 
end up needing an onsite person to do somethings on the fc3>fc4 
transition, because I lost control of it.
