I have checked with Corsair, I received the two replies below
 
        I am currently trying to find out which type of wear leveling the drive uses,
        so I will get back to you when I can get a definite answer.
        Regarding your usage of Linux on the drive, you should be fine.
        In order to wear out our GT drive you would need to write 210 GB of
        data to the drive every day for 10 years.
        It does not matter how you use the drive, if it fails within 10 years,
        we will replace it for you.

         I was able to confirm that current production Flash Voyagers are using
