free to interpret his statement any way you choose.

widest array of possible users, some of whom will not want SELinux but

Evidently, it takes a peculiar mix of ignorance and arrogance to
endlessly argue about the lack of merits concerning SELinux when in
fact, there are a number of significantly informed people who feel
otherwise.
