Rawhide vs F9

If I install Rawhide (or an F9 beta) now, how reliably will I be able to
upgrade to F9 when it appears in 3 weeks or so? I don't want Rawhide to
be permanently enabled after upgrading, but I'm afraid that keeping up
to date before the official release will push some packages past the
versions finally available on F9.

I guess what I'm asking is "is this likely to be any easier than a full
F8->F9 upgrade"?
