rpm -qa without results

Hi all.
I have a problem with rpm -qa, with no results.
I try with rpm --rebuilddb, yum cleanall... etc, without good news.

root at tesis:~# rpm -qa
root at tesis:~#

root at tesis:~# rpm -q rpm
package rpm is not installed
root at tesis:~# rpm
