Sorry Mogens, I  didn't want to hurt you (but from the smiley it seems I
didn't ;-)

I read offcial rh el 4 and 5 docs recently because I had to make some
kickstart customizations and so in particular I had to work with %pre and
%post sections
so to be able to manage both versions (and both CentOS and RH EL) with a
unique kickstart file and to manage both physical and virtual machines
situations.
I will post an update bug to redhat for the documentation seen at
https://www.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/5.2/html/Installation_Guide/s1-kickstart2-postinstallconfig.html
that could be useful also for others.

Indeed, I don't think CentOS team customized the kickstart sources of rh el
5.2...
