you got me with the chamois.

i went thru just over 6 months total of ampex video school from 1968 thru 1969
on cameras, and 2" and 1" video tape. chamois is what we learned to clean with.
late 80's was when i left video tape machines because of 1/2" machines.

too many years after, and i forgot the tricks.
