Actually, we pushed the big red button push to stable a few days ago at akademy, and then one more/last showstopper bug reared it's ugly head (I think we actually got it fixed today).

You know the drill (or should by now), it's available, and has-been, for quite some time in updates-testing.  If you choose not to take advantage of that, and you're upset, well, your angst seems misplaced.
