Fedora 9 SMS receiving?

F9 lappy
mobile broadband
3 Ireland
Huawei E630 
connects fine with NM for internet,
can also connect gprs.
How can I receive sms,
my provider sends the bill by sms.
gnokii won't recognise device.
smstools, completely lost with it (cli agnostic)
