Cairo-like dock for KDE? [SOLVED]

Well, I didn't. I added a standalone widget for that on the desktop, for the 
time being.

But the problem I am now facing is shutting down the panel --- there is no 
obvious way of doing it. I'll have to spend some more time configuring all 
this, when "more time" becomes available...
