brief guide here (DISCLAIMER: if I remember correctly):

# livecd-is-to-disk --overlay-size-mb XXX /path/to/kde.iso /dev/sdXX

the first 3 X representing the number of MB you want to overlay and
the second X being your flash drive.  And you can get the info for you
flash drive (where it's mounted) by:

$ df -h
