Fedora-10-x86_64-DVD halts on segfault during boot

I have installed F10 x86_64 on quite a few recent systems (AMD 780G
from Biostar/ASUS and Zotac Nvidia 8200) and haven't run into any such
issues.

Can you tell us a bit more about your hardware?
