Nice.  That's a good start.  If you have time, it might be worth
poking upstream to see why they haven't patched this there yet.  If I
had to guess, it might be because I think the patch will munge the
data when it can't parse it.  Maybe this is better than the traceback,
but it's not really an ideal solution either. :/
