send yourself and email and read header. note last 'received:', which should be
you address.

there are several sites that you can use to check your address, grc.com is
first to come to mind and while there, you can run a check to see how well
you are firewalled and see if your dsl modem is allowing ping return.

also, you should be able to log onto your dsl modem and see what address
you are connected as.
