Hi list
I have a probleme with ~ substitution:
when i write this, it ok;
[root at grid009 ~]# echo ~root
/root
but, when I try to write this a a variable, it is not ok!!
[root at grid009 ~]# user=root
[root at grid009 ~]# echo ~$user
~root

Can tou help me to solve this problem
