f8 sound is driving me crazy.

Adding the options line above stops the soundcard Detection program from
recognizing the card. So something else needs to be done.

Let me repeat the lines in the modprobe.conf are ignored in configuring
the card. I have to rum modprobe snd-cs-4336 in /etc/rc.local.
