I have an NOAA weather radio - and am rather dissapointed.
It's set to go off when there is a weather alert, and sometimes it does
- but I've been home and seen several alerts on the television (cutting
into what I was watching) that the NOAA radio was completely silent on.

It's almost like (for my area anyway) what's the point? It seems to me
that if it is important enough for the emergency broadcast system surely
it should have triggered the NOAA radio.

Maybe your area is better.
