it's on. and DHCP is giving out addresses to wired computers nicely.

checked that first thing. absolutely no filtering.

hmmmmm ... i don't remember reading that. or maybe i just glossed
over it. in any event, i did check all the basic stuff before
proceeding to whine about it. i'll play with this more this weekend.
