There is no option in the installer to do this for Fedora 8.  It is
planned as a feature for Fedora 9 (and is implemented in the recently
released alpha).

It is possible with a little work to encrypt / on F8 if you really
need it right now.  But it will be a lot easier when you can just
select the Encrypt option in the installer. :)
