You can use standard CMYK colour separations for anything up to a four-layer
object, regardless of the actual colours of the object.

Just use Cyan Magenta Yellow and Black when creating your pattern.  It won't
affect the colour of the sheet that you're cutting, and what it looks like on
the screen is irrelevant.
