Well I looked for jpackage-util and got this:

[root k5di ~]# yum install jpackage-util
Setting up Install Process
Parsing package install arguments
No package jpackage-util available.
Nothing to do
[root k5di ~]#

Then went to the web page and it has a special file for getting to the jpackage.repo which I balk at because new repo's are not good as a rule. Since I did set up my java in a manual way I'm not sure I want to mess up what works :-)
You can't make an omelet without breaking some eggs.

That said, I am quite certain that lacking the information about basic
Fedora packaging, the various packages that depend upon Java, how java
is supposed to work, what Java actually is and how it is used, what the
various versions of Java represent, where things are traditionally
installed, environmental variables that the various Java implementations
might require, what the intent of the free-java is, what reasonable
tests would be in establishing whether you have a properly functioning
java, in essence, lacking all predicate information of what is to be
accomplished and why, that your efforts would lack credibility and have
no relevance for anyone except you.

Just sayin...but recognizing that the lack of predicate understanding
doesn't seem to ever stop you from overreaching.

I muddle along and did discover that F8 has a rpm called jpackage-utils-1.7.3-1jpp.3.fc8 and it does something I am not aware of. But with patience I will find out.
