ATI driver: possible without livna/ATI's huge *.run one?

I don't know if it is the same for ATI but I found that the kernel
module from freshrpms for nvidia worked better for me. Take a look there.
I prefer the dkms support. I don't have to worry about kernel changes
as I did with the livna driver.
