A memory change didn't fix it. Reloading Windows changed the symptoms,
but didn't fix it. Looks like something on the MB has died. New
computer.... no problems. Microcenter offered a rebuilt IBM for 249 or
so, so I picked that up. We are once again a proud house full of
computers.
