Grub problem, can't boot.

I am not sure I understand the problem. If the map statements are 
just inside the BookManager section, then they should not affect the 
other boot options. If they are in the global section, then they 
will. In any case, you should be able to boot with the install 
CD/DVD in the rescue mode, and edit the grub configuration. You also 
have the option of booting with a live CD and doing the same thing. 
If you have a separate /boot partition, you will just need to mount 
that and edit the configuration file.

You also have the option when you have the Grub menu to enter your 
own Grub commands, and boot the F7 system. This requires more 
knowledge of your system, because you end up entering the commands 
that make up the menu entry. If you did put the map commands in the 
global section, you should be able to add the map commands to your 
F7 menu entry and boot the system so you can fix it.

In any case, there is no need to re-install.
