Version 3.9p1-8 of *what*? What is the actual name of the package?
Please execute the above command as I typed it. On my system I get this:

# rpm -qa \*ssh\*
openssh-5.0p1-3.fc9.x86_64
openssh-clients-5.0p1-3.fc9.x86_64
ksshaskpass-0.4-2.fc9.x86_64
openssh-server-5.0p1-3.fc9.x86_64
openssh-askpass-5.0p1-3.fc9.x86_64

poc
