Then copy the log file to somewhere that you can read, such as the /tmp
directory, chmod it if you need to, and attach it as a file to an
e-mail.

But I'd, first, see if copy and paste works using different methods,
perhaps in different combinations (CTRL+C copy, CTRL+V paste, as well as
drag-select copy, and middle mouse button paste).
