Your's shows the time as 04:51 AM. Do you get up that early, or stay up

Maybe I need to remove and reinstall yum, but I really hesitate to
remove software with yum.

A few releases back, I had installed a lot of extra software, and had
setup yum.conf to assume yes, and forgot to set it back. A few days
later, I needed to remove totem to install totem-xine, forgot about the
"assume yes" and removed all of KDE, as well.

Maybe I need to remove and reinstall Fedora 9. If I do, I'll download
the system, myself, instead of buying the DVD.

I'm not new to Linux, but I've had a lot more experience with Slackware.
Newer kernels and yum for easier updates are a plus, but this is a mess.
