Older machine, Install-DVD doesnt boot

Thank you guys.
It'll take me some time now, to get an text-mode-install-cd/dvd, try
(seems like some more times) to install and get it going...
By the way, which is the command to setup an pppoe-configuration? For
the case, I'll get things working... :-)
