wicd - better wireless network manager than NetworkManager?

I am using my wireless with NM and have no problem at all...

I have been using wicd starting from F7. It feels much stable that NM.
I used to constantly get disconnected when I was using NM. It is easy
to make an rpm package for it.

in F8, NM refused to get connected to my WEP encrypted wireless.
