Are you absolutely sure it isn't 10.0.0.6?
Class A network 10.0.0.0 is a testing network these days (since the
breakup of the ARPA net). Similar to the 192.168.0.0 Class C network.
There is also a Class B network too. Rules should be for local routing
only, no global routing rules for these networks. That way any sight
can use them locally, but they should not conflict with each other over
the internet.

Check with the assigning authority (DHCP server?) to be sure.
Maybe it was supposed to be 10 and someone mis-typed it into the router....
