What to use for pirut??

        There's a thread (begun April 27) on this list, which has gotten 
surprisingly little attention. It claims pirut is to be obsoleted. Is 
this true?? Is there some other front end for yum that has the same 
abilities to find apps, by type and by list, without knowing their exact names
-- and then install or remove them??
