Why don't you use swat to configure samba?

Subject: Aloowing access to specific samba users

Hi,

I've got a bit stuck with Samba shares but I'll bet that's a common
problem. In System=>Administration=>Samba on the Access tab there appears
to be the option to "only allow access to specific users".

Is there an obvious reason why I can't seem to add a user at this point?
You cannot type in the rectangular box itself and when you try, a small
text box opens in the bottom right corner of the window into which you can
type a user name. getting this into the larger rectangle has so far
defeated me. No helpful error message, in fact no message at all.

I have a nasty feeling there is a big chunk of data missing from my
understanding here, can someone throw any light on it for me?

Cheers,

Bob.
