F8: System-config-network crashes heinously

Everything works fine on my network. But whenever I boot up, I get a 
message that the network manager applet has failed because it lacks some 
resources. And then, when I type "system-config-network", it crashes 
heinously with this message, running under kernel 2.6.24.7-92.fc8:
