Link to the latest one for those looking:
https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/F8/pending/preupgrade-0.9.3-3.fc8

This adds the entry for F9.

I just went through the process and it wasn't flawless. Be aware that
there seems to be a missing "/" in the grub entry that it creates so
you have to go in and edit it for it to work ... at least I did.

The wrong line is:
kernel /boot/upgrade/vmlinuz preupgrade lang=en_US.UTF-8 keymap=us
stage2=hd:sda2:boot/upgrade/stage2.img
method=http://www.muug.mb.ca/pub/distro/fedora/linux/releases/9/Fedora/i386/os

It should be:
kernel /boot/upgrade/vmlinuz preupgrade lang=en_US.UTF-8 keymap=us
stage2=hd:sda2:/boot/upgrade/stage2.img
method=http://www.muug.mb.ca/pub/distro/fedora/linux/releases/9/Fedora/i386/os

Leave the mirror that it puts in. I edited mine and I think it led to
some issues that cause huge delays in the finalization of the upgrade.

But in the end I rebooted, things are working OK and I am typing this
in F9 with the *much* speedier Firefox.
