Preupgrade: Upgrade F8 i386 to F9 x86_64?

As in "do not attempt ever", or are there obstacles that can be
overcome? I wouldn't mind looking into the preupgrade/anaconda code if
this is something that is feasible, but it would help to know which
problems I might encounter in that case.
