I normally run a 2.6.25.stable kernel from kernel.org. But just for grins, I tried the latest Fedora kernel and sound was broken. Lots of complaints from alsalib about missing devices. Booted back to the real kernel and things were fine. Not worth a bugzilla as far as I'm concerned, just a heads-up. Regards, John
