I have several services that I am trying to have start automatically. Two specific ones are vsftpd and named. I have the the startup files in the rc3.d directory but the system seems to skip over them at boot time. I can however manual start the files by running them from a root shell with no problem. I'm sure I'm missing something simple, but what? Thanks, Jeff
