F9: evolution mail with URL

Ah, well, I'm using KDE. However, under the 'Default applications' in
the system settings, there is a 'Web browser' option. However, setting
it to firefox made no difference.

Starting firefox in safe mode initially, made no difference.

However, from my previous post, if I set FF to open new pages in a new
*tab*, then it all works fine. I'm more inclined to think this is a
firefox problem when using windows rather than tabs.
