Fedora 8 md (soft)raid-devices superblocks

With an imminent ug to F9,
would like to know how to backup the superblocks on /dev/md* Raid1
and if said ug would corrupt such backups?

In one case there are 3 soft-raids on 2 mirrored physical drives.
sd1,2,3 sdb1,2,3.
Anything extra to watch there.
