No sound with Banshee - updated

Just like to add that rhythmbox also works in the same environment.
Since I think rhythmbox also uses gstreamer, the mystery deepens.

BTW, this thread became diverted into a discussion about Amarok, which
of course I'd also like to get working but wasn't really the original
question.
