If you're running 64-bit Fedora, be sure these lines actually say:

Section "Files"
	ModulePath "/usr/lib64/xorg/modules/extensions/nvidia"
	ModulePath "/usr/lib64/xorg/modules"
EndSection

In my experience, the kmod-nvidia package installed and created the
appropriate xorg.conf file by default just fine. It could have been that
I installed using an earlier version of the RPMs where the correct file
was preserved through upgrades though. It's _always_ good to check and
know for sure.
