Firefox seg fault

I can't run firefox on a nfreshly installed, fully yum updated fedora 9
installation.  Running from the command line produces:


/usr/bin/mozilla-plugin-config: line 73:  4625 Segmentation fault      $WRAPPER_LIB_DIR/nspluginwrapper/plugin-config -f > /dev/null 2>&1
/usr/lib/firefox-3.0.2/run-mozilla.sh: line 131:  4640 Segmentation fault      "$prog" ${1+"$@"}

Can anyone sugest how I can fix this.
