Ntpdate fails to start

In my case, I have the flag "-g" already active:

# more /etc/sysconfig/ntpd
# Drop root to id 'ntp:ntp' by default.
OPTIONS="-u ntp:ntp -p /var/run/ntpd.pid -g"
#
