Fedora 9 Freeze At Login

Have you changed the theme?  I ask because I did, to Platinum, and got a 
similar freeze.  I manually edited ~/.kde/share/config/kcmthememanagerrc, 
changing the theme to Plastik, and all was well again.

Just another thought for you to try :-)
