Wireless, Broadcom

Hello,
I have an HP Pavilion zv6000 with Broadcom 306 mini PCI board, I could not connect it didn't even light up the wireless indicator. 
I download the direction from, http://linuxwireless.org/en/users/drivers/b43#devisefirmware and fallow the direction to install the drivers for b43 and b43legacy, but I still cannot get connected, the wireless light is now lit one small improvement.
I will appreciate very much if some body can help me. I suspect that I do not fill the proper DNS etc.
